She attended her first 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Shambahava Scool of Yoga in Boulder, CO. Next she deepened her yogic knowledge by attending the 200 & 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings through Alignment Yoga in Madison, WI. Her first training was through Upledger and then small group classes and one-on-one training with her teacher. She has over 120 hours of training in this field. She continues to learn more and works with a mentor to develop her sense of touch and deeper her perception of energy in and around the body. Her ability to listen to the body and to gently respond accordingly are precise and gentle.
Sarah attended a fifty hour series of workshops with Marty Ryan of Love Your Guts. This well-known and doctor approved training from the Seattle area deepened her tactile skills. This specialty is for patients with GERD, IBS, chronic constipation or diarrhea, abdominal surgeries, incontinence, organ prolapse, chronic neck pain, TMJ and more. The belly is often an overlooked and skipped area in a typical massage session and many LMTs have little to no training in this important body area. No matter your condition or body shape, Sarah will help you connnect to this area, explain which organs she is working on and will help you feel more comfortable in your skin. Touch on this area can be done directly on the skin or over a sheet. Appropriate draping is always provided for women and men alike.
Sarah has been trained in both styles of Reflexology. Combining the two to create a grounding and effective treatment. Various patients use this session to treat incontinence, plantar fasciitis, neck pain, edema, swelling, improved lymph flow and more.

During a session with Sarah, she will be applying several techniques to encourage a relaxation response in your body. She may use Acupressure, CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki, Quantum Healing, Energy Balancing, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Visceral Massage, crystals, sound and other vibrational techniques. It all depends on how your energy feels and are responding to touch or the session. This is not some weird voodoo but a natural response to working with bodies over a twenty-two year career. Aka paying attention, being present, listening and responding to the bodies needs, chord cutting, medical intuitive work, etc. If this type of healing makes you uncomfortable, booking a session may not be right for you at this time.
